The Franklin County Cyclists are excited to once again host Michaux GRVL for 2024, and are offering a new 100 mile Expert route!

We are still partnering  with 2 great local groups for this event; Friends of Michaux State Forest and Bulldog Bike Park. Proceeds from this year's event will be distributed to both groups, and each will be active participants in the event by running aid stations  and providing volunteers along the route.

MICHAUX GRVL 2024 is a ride to be taken at your own pace, or race it as you may and prizes will be awarded for the top 3 riders in each category (as long as there are 3 riders in those categories). Regardless, we will be offering timing on each route for those interested in their personal statistics, and results will be posted on our website following the event. The Fast may go Fast & the Slow may go Slow.

This year we're keeping it interesting for all of those enjoying Michaux GRVL! We'll be hiding several tokens out on the course for riders to find and turn in for a prize. Follow us on social media to learn more closer to race day!

We recommend the use of gravel bikes with tires of at least 35mm for any route since some stretches of road can be chunky and there is a risk of punctures with smaller tires on the downhill sections of the courses.

There will be no day-of registrations, and all participants must complete their registrations on BikeReg prior to the close of the event registration. We are coordinating a pre-race packet pick up on Friday evening September 13, 2024 with the Michaux Brewing Co. Day-of packet pick up will be available prior to the start. Start time information is above.

Route markings for each course will be designated using signs and colored arrows ( specific to each route).  Route marking colors will be displayed at the route start.

GPS files for each route along with cue sheets will be available through an online link.

If you need to cordinate an earlier start time, please contact us.

This is a Rain or Shine event and no refunds will be given, so please plan accordingly when signing up.

Participants will receive with their paid entry a meal voucher good towards a post ride lunch at a Food Truck  that will be on hand that day. Participants over 21 years of age will receive two pre-paid beer vouchers good for Michaux Brewing Co’s beer that will be on-site!

FCC members who register for the event are encouraged to  wear their FCC kit!
